| Rhonda
Sullivan-Ford, M.D., FACOG |
Rhonda Sullivan-Ford, M.D., FACOG, was born and
raised in Hayti, Missouri. She attended Hayti High
School and was valedictorian of her senior class. She
received numerous academic scholarships and pursued her
undergraduate studies at Murray State University where
she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science
degree. Dr. Sullivan-Ford completed medical school and
her residency at the University of Tennessee. She is a
partner at East Lakeland OB/Gyn Associates and is Board
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and
Gynecology. Dr. Sullivan-Ford is a Fellow in the
American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and
a member of Central Mississippi Medical Society.
Dr. Sullivan-Ford serves on the medical staffs of
River Oaks Hospital, Woman’s Hospital, and St. Dominic
Hospital. She has been selected to serve on various
committees at River Oaks Hospital, where she primarily
practices. Currently, she serves as a member of the
Infectious Disease Committee, Quality Control, and the
Operating Room Committee. Dr. Sullivan-Ford has offered
insight into the promotion of “Woman’s Health and
Abstinence” speaking throughout the southeast to women’s
and youth groups through churches and schools. She is a
member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and a former member
of the Junior League of Jackson. Dr. Sullivan-Ford has
served as a mentor to many young women interested in the
medical profession.
Dr. Sullivan-Ford is married
to Mr. Winston Ford and they are the parents of two
daughters. Dr. Sullivan-Ford is not only a physician,
wife, and mother, but is first and foremost a
God-fearing woman who feels especially blessed to have
become a medical doctor in the field of Obstetrics and
Gynecology. She enjoys traveling and spending time with
family and friends. She is a physician who takes care of
the whole person, not just physically, but emotionally
and spiritually, as well.
